The aim of sex therapy is concerned with improving sexual functioning. Dr. Susan Lee prides herself on teaching participants specific treatment techniques to meet the primary objectives of couples and individuals by providing a step by step methodology to use in your office.

Although many mental health experts have since written extensively in the sexual field, specific behavioral and cognitive approaches have received emphasis in the literature. Sex therapy is a specialized psychotherapeutic modality often utilizing short term approaches. The sex therapist deals openly and directly with sensitive and painful issues.
