therapy in order to enhance their clinical skills. It has been streamlined
for psychotherapists (social workers, marriage & family therapists and
mental health counselors), psychologists, physicians (especially
urologists and gynecologists), nurse practitioners, and post-graduate
students. Three expert sex therapists offer the latest in treatment
techniques and solutions for your challenging cases. We invite seasoned

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this
course, participants will be able to:
1. Evaluate the major bio-psycho-social
factors that shape sexual response.
2. Differentiate between the
organic and psychogenic causes of sexual dysfunctions.
3. Diagnose sexual
dysfunctions & disorders in males.
4. Diagnose sexual
dysfunctions & disorders in females.
5. Learn how to treat sexual
dysfunctions & disorders in males.
6. Learn how to treat sexual
dysfunctions & disorders in females.
7. Appreciate the impact of
medical research & treatment on clinical practice.
8. Assess the impact of
disease, medication and recreational drugs on sexual functioning and
intimate relationships.
9. Understand orientation and
gender issues related to sex therapy treatment.
10. Diagnose and learn
treatment options for patients presenting with compulsive sexual behavior.
11. Recognize the positive
effect of sex therapy treatment on marriage and intimate relationships.
12. Learn specific treatment
techniques and interventions utilizing traditional sex therapy modalities.
This program meets the requirements of the American
Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors & Therapists (AASECT)
and is approved for 12 CE credits. These CE
credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of
certification (Provider #07-110J, exp. 3/09).

nationally recognized as an
expert in sexuality
& pharmacology.

Ricky is a FL‐licensed
mental health counselor,

therapist, and is dually‐certified

enjoys a national
reputation as a trainer in
sexuality education &
